Dear Dr Pipes: I thank DNM for posting a reference to Fethiye Cetin's memoir "My Grandmother: An Armenian-Turkish Memoir".
I do not know without reading the book whether Fethiye Cetin thanks Allah for making her grandmother Muslim by force or abhors him, but when I say that non-Muslims should resist Islam and not surrender to it (ref1) and should try to convert Muslims out of Islam, that is exactly what I mean. Muslim people need to be made aware of the dark and unacknowledged past of Islam. They should be told that there is no such thing as blasphemy, if they leave Islam. And, all Islamic stipulations regarding heaven or hell become null and void if they become apostates by choice.
Ignoring Islam's dark past and present is neither good for Muslims non for non-Muslims.
