Anything would be better than dependence on Saudi oil. There is a condition on dealing directly with the Russians instead of the Saudis: The Russians should rid themselves of their so-called "billionaire miscreants" just as the Americans should do the same. The American bankers just stole and pocketed almost $20 billion in taxpayer dollars.
Both the Americans and the Russians now have more in common than not. We both possess corrupt governments, where the rich are allowed to become richer by stealing the hard-earned taxpayer's dollar. The French recently went on strike, explicitly telling their politicians that they are not like the Americans. The French people value their citizenry more than the miscreants heading the French-owned corporations.
When will the Americans follow the French example, where the people are more valued than the corporate entities and its malefic CEOs? When driving down I-95 in central New Jersey (a regional section of the so-called "Golden Belt"), one can observe the private jets of the bankers and other Wall Street Mafia landing and taking off at the Trenton Mercer County Airport -- all paid with your hard-earned tax dollars. These miscreants can fly off to France and other European countries to receive the very best healthcare, while most Americans are stuck with antiquated healthcare services or none at all. Write to your Congress and newly elected president and demand the return of all taxpayer dollars from these bankers, who are using the bailout money to buy new jets, build new estate homes here at home and abroad, buy new luxury cars, etc. Don't be a sucker.
