Plato, you did mention to me that we, moderate muslims, are bad too since we fight back when non-muslims trigger off their war against us. The following is an example to prove that fighting in defensive role is indeed acceptable even in the public point of view:
Let's assume that someone approaches you, Plato, to start his fighting against your mother, your father, your mother, and your children. For instance, you know that they will not die if you fight back against them. Now my question is would you fight back against the trouble maker that fights against your family? If you say that you would fight against that trouble maker so as to save the lives of your family, that implies that fighting in defensive role is not to be considered bad. However, if you persist not to fight with that trouble maker and it ends up that that trouble maker has killed your family one by one, would you regret your move in not fighting back against him. Thus, we, moderate muslims, only fight back when non-muslims start their fighting first and this act should be acceptable in the Public since we are not the first that stir up the problem in the society but that non-muslims start to attack us first and we fight back so as to protect our mosque and our muslim people. For instance, if non-muslims stop immediately to fight with us, we will definitely stop and we will not treat them as our enemies but continues to show good conduct to them and share the message of Allah from the Holy Quran for their repentance.
If non-muslims do not start their fighting with us, we, moderate muslims, will not start our fighting with them and we will not stir up vandalism, riots, violence and/or etc. to the public but eagerly to wait for the repentance of non-muslims by sharing the message of Allah from the Holy Quran to them. Not only that, we will continue to show good conduct show that non-muslims might see our conduct to turn back to Allah.
