Ibn Masud, I thank you for your concern about my soul. I trust that is the reason why you ask me to become a Muslim.
Unfortunately, the Qu'ran accuses me of deifying Mary, when the Holy Trinity to which I pray is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit--and that has been the Christian Faith since Jesus told us "Before Abraham was, I am" (John 8). The QU'ran also tells me that the Jews make Ezra the son of God the way the Christians make Jesus the Son of God. I'm sorry, I've lived cheek by jowl with Jews (they actually make pretty good neighbors, even if it's a pity that they don't recognize M'shiach--you Muslims ought to try it some time), argued theology with them, and read their books, but, outside the Qu'ran, I've never known any Jews to declare Ezra to be the son of God.
The same books of Exodus and Deuteronomy, which the Jews and Christians share and argue over, tells me that "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor." Muhammad, Jibreel, or Iblis (whoever it was who gave the Qu'ran to Muhammad) bore false witness against Muhammad's Jewish and Christian neighbors. There can be no dignity and peace in following such a one. Maybe that is why Muslims kill each other right and left after they run out of Ahl-al-Kitab to blame their troubles on.
Ibn Masud, my brother man, Jesus Christ bore the penalty for your sin on the cross, and rose from the dead for you to have peace with God. Believe in him, not some oversexed Arabian merchant.
You seem to live in Pakistan. Tell me, did the dream of Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Liaquat Ali Khan give the Muslims of the subcontinent much dignity after they got a state of their own? It seems to me that Pakistan is one of the poorest and most badly governed nations in the world. Worse, it feeds itself on memories of what a glorious ruler Babur Shah was when he boasted of massacring 67 million Hundus; yet every showdown between Pakistan and India seems to end with an Indian victory.
