p.s. after my last reply one of the first stories I saw in an online UK paper was this:

obviously these people - both in Britain - and Afghanistan/Pakistan* are educated sufficiently well to construct electronic timers and detonators. Again, education gives no guarantees.

(or is it now Talibanistan in effect?)
