Go to the Koran and read the scriptures that continually contradict one another. The Koran states that women are completely equal to men in the sight of God, and that both men and women will be rewarded soley according to their deeds and not due to any sort of preference for one gender over the other.
Yet the men feel they have the right to murder for as little as a disagreement, or the daughters choosing someone who isn't their ideal or of their culture. The men may be misrepresenting the scriptures to value themselves over women.
The scriptures themselves seem to create a debate over predestination versus free will. Many of the verses seem to advocate fatalism, and at other times free will. Many critics argue that the Koran contradicts itself, and that the Koranic worldview on this issue heavily sides with fatalism.
Many people wonder why this Jihad, or struggle is waged against peoples the muslims don't even know. Why are they struggling with peoples thousands of miles away. There is hardly a need for self defense from people who have nothing to do with Islamic society. They wage war on innocent people, to try and prove a point, that the Koran should be accepted by all peoples of the earth, and should die if we do not submit. This is paganism, and barbarianism like Ghengis Khan, and the Roman Empire administered to the Jewish people, and other races who would not adhere to tyranny. I would say to all, once the Koran is read and understood, there is no reason to try and convince us it represents peace and free will.
To the peaceful who follow peace, and harmony it definitely means peace and free will, and they should talk to some of their radical brothers, to convince them to follow a different path, instead of trying to convert other peoples of other nationalities and religions. Quit trying to dominate society's freedom under the God over all of us.
