Once again, I couldn't agree with you more. Being flexible is a virtue! Talking about Hinduism and Islam is like talking about the day and the night! I love the holistic approach of Hinduism. Its teachings are priceless for mankind.
Hinduism is the oldest religion, present in many disciplines nowadays. It is considered the most tolerant religion. It just takes a look for those who doesn't have an idea about religions to the differences between the most important holy celebrations of Islam and Hinduism: While Islam celebrates that a man was decided to kill his own offspring in an obedient act to show his entire submission to God during Eid ul-Fitr, the Diwali celebrates that light always beat the darkness and the goodness is over evil!
There's something divine in every human being according to Hinduism. I cannot find a more beautiful concept than this one! For saying this, Islam would punish us for blasphemy... No more words are needed.
