Islam only has the fear of hell to retain believers

Dear Prashant, Dr Pipeas and Dhimmi No More,

I'm rescuing this from Prashant's post: "I think polite and scholarly criicism of Quran is the need of our times."

Dhimmi No More, I understand what you mean with the historical facts, but in essence, I can see what Prashant means. And from his post, I conclude this: No fear with hell is needed to force believers into a certain faith. No faith should use this statement to keep the believers aligned and quiet with shut-mouthed. I stated this very recently here too.

Again, love should be the only thing which sparks faith. Not fear.

Thank you for another thoughtful post, Prashant and thank you, Dhimmi No More for your very valuable posts sharing your great knowledge. The more I read you, the more I learn and the more eager to know more I am. I'm very sad today that still the same old record is being played to fall more women in fake love while I found out lately that I am not yet in the clear.

We need more awareness and that's why these forum makes the difference. Thank you all.
