Why then are they called Maulanas and Maulvis? The Koran is a clear and easy book to understand by the Koran's own claims. Have you asked yourself why people who are steeped in the study of Islam can be so bereft of the true meaning of the scripture they have studied. Could it be that this Koran is not as clear as it claims or that what the Maulanas have understood is the real truth of Islam?

The meaning and purpose of the Koran is to ensure that only Allah is worshipped on earth and to ensure this He asks His followers to do whatever necessary, including fighting and obliterating other religious beliefs. This Allah has made clear in verses like:

009.033 YUSUFALI: It is He Who hath sent His Messenger with guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it).

003.085 If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).

002.216 Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not. [FIGHT EVEN IF YOU DISLIKE IT]

009.041 Go ye forth, (whether equipped) lightly or heavily, and strive and struggle, with your goods and your persons, in the cause of Allah. That is best for you, if ye (but) knew.

009.111 : Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur'an: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme.

009.029 : Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

What is a holy book worth if it meant only for a small minority of people. So out of the billion plus people who claim to be Muslims how many would you say understand their religion or have a clue to what Allah is talking about?

Have you asked yourself why after 1400 years Islam is controlled by people like the Mullahs and maulanas you decry? Could not a religion which Allah Himself claims to protect and nurture have inspired better people than those we see as leaders of opinion in the Islamic world? You must ask yourself how a religion can reach the levels we see today in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Afghanistan or Sudan and Somalia if it is truly a religion from the creator of the universe.

Those Muslims are not good persons but they are good Muslims, at least in their own minds. They are taking guidance from verses like 2:216, 9:111 and 9:29

Then you Real Muslims have a real problem with some verses in the Koran.

002.228 YUSUFALI….And women shall have rights similar to the rights against them, according to what is equitable; but men have a degree (of advantage) over them. And Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.

004.034 YUSUFALI: Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. …….. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all).

Women acquired in war can be treated as concubines even if they have husbands living according to the Koran:

QURAN - 33:50: "Prophet, We have made lawful to you the wives whom you have granted dowries and the slave girls whom God has given you as booty;..."

This is pure Muslim speak. You are claiming with this statement that if the Koran sounds difficult to anyone then they are not honest and do not practice good deeds in their work and business. So very convenient.

More Muslim speak. If the Koran is both easy AND also difficult to understand and apply to one's life what is the use of this manual for life? Allah must rewrite it so the large majority can understand and apply it. That should be easy for Allah as He claims to be all-powerful and has only to say "BE" and it is. If it is meant only for physicists, economists, doctors and other professionals then the Koran is a scripture meant only for the elite.

Why is Allah so terrified of people worshipping other gods or idols? What makes Allah see red if I bow down to a piece of wood which I think represents the creator?

If disbelievers will never believe the Koran why do Muslims do dawa? Is it not a sheer waste of time?

And the people who do not believe in this Allah, and who are the majority of humankind, are called kafirs in Arabic.

Then what explains 9:29, and 3:85 I have quoted above??

Your clarification has left me depressed. You have informed to us that the Koran is meant for scientists, professionals like CPAs, doctors, engineers. Is the rest of humanity to be left blundering about in the darkness of disbelief?
