I am glad to receive your reply in which you have raised Quran 9:29 as well as 9:111. I agree with you that Allah is against non-believers.
Let's examine whose Allah that we, Muslims, is before we comment upon non-Muslims:
Quran 2:20, "Allah hath power all things" and Quran 2:33, "Allah said...I know the secrets of heaven and earth". These two verses point out to us the fact that Allah is powerful and that the universe is in control by Allah undoubtedly. Not only that, Allah knows all the planets, stars, moons and whatsoever in this universe. The same is mentioned in Quran 3:29, "Allah knows what is in the heavens and what is on earth. And Allah has power over all things".
Quran 3:2, "Allah. There is no god but He-the living, the self-subsisting, eternal". This verse gives us a better hint that there is no other gods in this universe, but only one and that is Allah and the word, eternal, in Quran 3:2 implies Allah exists eternally and Allah will never die.
Quran 3:191, "Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting on lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in heavens and the earth (with the thought): "Our Lord! not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee!" As the phrase, Thouj created (all) this, in Quran 3:191 is mentioned with the phrase, heavens and the earth, it implies that Allah is the creator of this Universe.
Quran 9:29, "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the last day". The phrase, Fight those who believe not Allah nor the last day, in Quran 9:29 can be interpreted in two scenarios. One is non-believer starts to fight with you and another is non-believer does not fight with you first. Thus, Quran 9:29 could be interpreted as defensive way of fighting instead of aggressive. For instance, if Quran 9:29 is to be meant for defensive way of fighting from Allah's view, those Muslim extremists certainly have committed gravest sin on the side of Allah. Thus, moderate Muslims that like to act righteously before Allah would act rationally in case that would cause Allah to be angry with us since we, Muslims, have to be answerable to Allah in the last days of Allah's judgment.
As we know Buddhists, Christians and etc. worship God too. The God that they worship is the creator of this universe. As Allah is our God of the creator of this universe, certainly they that believe in God must be the same Allah that we worship unless there is another creator of this earth. As we know that there is only one Allah is this universe, their God that they worship must be the same Allah that we bow to. As they are the believers of the same Allah that we worship, they are the believers of Allah. As they worship Allah as us, there should not be any reason why we should use Quran 9:29 to commence our fights with them.
