Because I think it would help readers understand this controversial topic, I'm adding this today.
As Dhimmi No More clearly described in the post I'm replying to, it is apparent that Jesus's conception does not differ from the Christianity's revelation!
It is clearly manifested in Qur'an 21:91, in case someone is still flabbergasted after reading DNM's posts, regardless of the translations that we are following:
Qur'an 21:91: And remember the one who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into her through Our angel, (Gabriel) making her and her son a sign for all peoples.
Qur'an 66:12: There is also the example of Mary, the daughter of 'Imrân, who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into her womb through Our angel Gabriel. She testified to the words of her Lord and His Scriptures, and was one of the sincerely devout.
In Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran.
And here, we find much more:
https://wikiislam.net/wiki/Virgin_Conception_of_Jesus_in_the_Qur%27an :
Literal: "her genital parts , so We blew into her"
Malik: "who guarded her chastity, We breathed into her of Our Spirit"
George Sale: "who preserved her virginity, and into whom We breathed of our spirit"
JM Rodwell: "who kept her maidenhood, and into whom we breathed of our spirit"
Asad: "AND [remember] her who guarded her chastity, whereupon We breathed into her of Our spirit"
Qur'an 66:12:
Malik: "and into whose womb We breathed of Our spirit"
George Sale: "and into whose womb we breathed of our spirit"
JM Rodwell: "and into whose womb we breathed of our spirit"
Asad: "whereupon We breathed of Our spirit into that [which was in her womb]"
Tafsir Ibn Kathir: "And Maryam, the daughter of 'Imran who guarded her chastity. And We breathed into it [her garment] through Our Ruh) [66:12]."
Having read this, why does Islam put so much effort in denying what is written in the Qur'an to claim that Christians are completely misguided and wrong?
And having asked to Muslims about these very ayahs, they defend their stance by saying that yes, Allah made this miracle. However, Allah is not human, so He never could have engendered a human. From this, they extract that Jesus can't be God's son.
Anyway, I hope this serves to show how many bogus and ambiguous statements Muslims have made even from their confusing scriptures...
