The founder of Singapore was a Hindu. During that time, Singapore has its name to be Singapura. The country was dominated by Hindu and Malay. However, Singapore now is no longer as Singapore in the past. It is a multi-racial country. Thus, it proves that we should not use history in the past to conclude the situation as in the present.
The same is for muslims. Even though Abraham, Adam, Ismail,Jesus and etc. were muslims in the past, it does not conclude that muslims still exist at the time when Prophet Muhammad was on this earth. There might be a possibility that the muslim religions might well be disappeared from this earth during the time of Prophet Muhammad's mission and that caused his wife to be the first convert in the next generation. She was to be considered to be the first convert since muslim relligion might have gone due to the wickedness of people in idolatry. As a result, Prophet Muhammad has to come to restore the religion.
You might comment that Judaism and Christianity still exist nowadays. However, you have to bear in mind that as we are not born during that period, a lot of things are uncertainty since we do not see it. How do you know Judaism and Christianity began to respect God after the preaching of Muslims to them?
If you earnestly browse through all the histroy of Prophet Muhammad, you would have discovered that it really mentions that his wife is the first convert, that cannot be deniable.
History is history and fact is fact. What if someone tries to convince that Singapore was indeed in the past a multi-racial country. They were not born at the time when Singapura was named. They certainly use their own imaginations to comment that Singapura has already been multi-racial in the past due to they were not born at that time.
Nevertheless, giving another alternative comment for the histroy of Prophet Muhammad was just leaving what was reality in the past.
