Nozzi: You have been badly misled by your Islamic instructor. Investigate Islam yourself

Nozzi, I am afraid you have been badly mislead by your madrassa teachers. Muslims invaded Persia and conquered it without any provocation. The Muslims invaded far away India and devastated it over hundreds of years. Did India threaten the Arab Muslims in any way. The Muslims invaded, conquered countries like Egypt, Palestine, Spain, North Africa... none of whom had threatened Muslims.

The Muslims invaded these countries without provocation and DESTROYED families in the millions. The Muslims invasions of neighbouring and far away countries destroyed families by killing the men, and enslaving women and children.

You have been told lies by your Islamic instructors about what Muslims did during the last 1400 years. To understand what Muslims did the best sources are Muslim historians themselves. If you are interested I will give you enough references to last you a life time.

You seem to be unaware of the fact that Muhammad after managing to dominate Madina conducted nearly 80 raids and wars almost always without any provocation from the others. The raid on Khaibar, the exiling of the Banu Qainuka, the incessant raids on peaceful caravans are part of Islamic history. The prophet even sent a raiding party during the holy months which resulted in the death of one man and the capture of another and looting of property.

The famous battle of Badr was also the result of the intent of the prophet to loot a rich caravan belonging to the Meccans.

Ask yourself who really had to save their families from being enslaved by Muslims. Take some time off and read Muslim history, especially the biography of the biography of the prophet written by the earliest Muslim biograper (Ibn Ishaq, translated by Alfred Guillaume, available from Oxford University Pakistan).

The prophet himself started the tradition of destroying the holy places of other faiths. As soon as he conquered Mecca he personally destroyed the holy idols of the pagans. He also ordered the destruction of a mosque built by the hypocrites of Madina. These are the Koranic verses that refers to this incident. Ask your Islamic scholar about them:

009.107-108 YUSUFALI: And there are those who put up a mosque by way of mischief and infidelity - to disunite the Believers - and in preparation for one who warred against Allah and His Messenger aforetime. They will indeed swear that their intention is nothing but good; But Allah doth declare that they are certainly liars. Never stand thou forth therein. …

Ibn Kathir tells us what Muhammad did to this mosque in his tafsir (The Exegesis of the Grand Holy Koran, Vol 2 Dar Al Kotoob Al Ilmiya, Beirut) page 780: ….the true intentions of those who built it, who wanted to sow disputes among the faithful believes of he mosque of Quba, whose foundation was based from the first day upon piety and righteousness. So, the Messenger of Allah PBUH sent somebody to demolish this mosque before his arrival in Medina.

The foundations of all places or worship of other faith are, according to Islam, based on impiety and unrighteousness and hence Muslims feel they have an Allah-given right to destroy them as the Prophet showed by this example.

Nozzi, read your history of Islam and you will discover that unlike what the mullahs tell you it was the Muslims who destroyed thousands upon thousands of temples, churches and other holy places. In India the Muslims invaded and desecrated the Hindu temple of Somnath and carried away its holy idol and made it into stepping stones for Muslims in their place of worship.

Your knowledge of Islamic history is not only poor but your madrassa instructors have twisted them beyond recognition.
